Excerpted from the full article at Prop. 65 Clearinghouse:

Tony Held continues to file and settle cases concerning DEHP in children’s products despite the Attorney General’s questioning of the relevance of some of the settlements. Held has sent a total of 114 60-day notices since June of last year. The most recent notices were filed in August. Held has settled with 17 companies—including the two recent settlements, Held v. Enor Corp. and Held v Regent Baby Products Corp.—for a total of $664,250 of which the companies paid $153,200 in penalties and $511,050 in attorney fees and costs to Held’s lawyers, Hirst & Chanler. In March, the AG’s office took over several of the cases originally filed by Held. The case, People v. Gerber Childrenswear, was filed in Alameda County Superior Court naming 10 companies that manufacture, distribute or sell baby bibs or other children’s clothing that contain DEHP. Held has successfully been named an intervener in the case. So far, four of the 10 companies have been dismissed from the case. link to source.
