Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA)

With the enactment of the CPSIA in 2008, the CPSC focused its attention on the stringent regulation of children’s products through the passage of various Consumer Product Safety Standards, particularly with regards to lead and phthalate content restrictions.

Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is generally defined as energy that is continually replenished through natural means.  The most common sources of renewable energy include sunlight, wind, and geothermal heat, captured by solar panels, wind turbines, and geothermal heating and cooling systems, respectively.  In order to incentivize continued development of, and investment in, renewable energy projects, State and Federal authorities have implemented various programs that offer financial benefits to public and private entities that choose to develop and maintain renewable energy projects.  The Chanler Group is actively engaged in review and analysis of these programs in order to determine the potential benefit to our clients.
