Held and Leeman Issue Six New Notices of Proposition 65 Violation

Anthony E. Held and Whitney R. Leeman issued six new 60-Day Notices of Violation of Proposition 65 yesterday, to companies offering hand tools for sale in California that contain chemicals known to the State to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm without the requisite health hazard warning. These citizen enforcers allege that the companies’ products contain the phthalate chemical DINP, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. The noticed companies include The Gorilla Glue Company and Lisle Corporation.
