Leeman Issues More 60-Day Notices Against Tea Distributors

Dr. Whitney R. Leeman has issued more 60-Day Notices of Proposition 65 violation against various tea distributors, including Anhing Corporation, Frontier Cooperative, and Save Mart Supermarkets.  Dr. Leeman alleges that the companies sold dried teas, both loose-leaf and bagged, in California that contained the heavy metal lead, without the requisite health hazard warning.  Lead is known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and/or other reproductive harm.
