TCG Clients Issue 60-Day Notices Re: Lead and DEHP

John Moore, Laurence Vinocur, and Anthony E. Held, Ph.D., P.E. have issued several new 60-Day Notices of Violation of Proposition 65 to companies offering products such as stethoscopes, gloves, and glasses with exterior designs in California that contain chemicals known to the State to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm without the requisite health hazard warning.  Moore, Vinocur, and Held allege that the companies’ products contain the phthalate chemical DEHP and/or the heavy metal lead, which are known to the State of California to cause birth defects and/or other reproductive harm.  Noticed companies include Pilot Travel Centers, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Neogen Corporation.
