TCG Clients Issue More 60-Day Notices of Prop 65 Violation

John Moore and Laurence Vinocur have issued dozens of new 60-Day Notices of Violation of Proposition 65 this month, to companies offering products such as watches, audio cables, and stickers in California that contain chemicals known to the State to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm without the requisite health hazard warning.  Moore and Vinocur allege that the companies’ products contain the phthalate chemical DEHP and/or the heavy metal lead, which are known to the State of California to cause birth defects and/or other reproductive harm.  Noticed companies include Blick Art Materials, Golf Time, and Sur La Table.
