Vinocur and Moore Issue New 60-Day Notices

John Moore and Laurence Vinocur have issued over new 60-Day Notices of Violation of Proposition 65 to companies offering products such as decorated tableware, fidget spinners, and rain gauges in California that contain chemicals known to the State to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm without the requisite health hazard warning.  Moore and Vinocur allege that the companies’ products contain the phthalate chemical DEHP and/or the heavy metal lead, which are known to the State of California to cause birth defects and/or other reproductive harm.  Noticed companies include Genuine Parts Company, The Home Depot, and Macy's.
