DiPirro v. Horizon Hobby, Inc., et al.

On October 13, 2000, citizen enforcer Michael DiPirro, and settling party Horizon Hobby, Inc. entered into an out-of-court Settlement Agreement, which resolved DiPirro's allegations that Horizon Hobby sold lead weights and lead balancing weights in the State of California without providing the requisite health hazard warnings.

As part of the settlement, Horizon Hobby agreed that it shall not knowingly ship, or caused to be shipped, any weights or lead balancing products into California unless such products are lead free or carry the appropriate Proposition 65 warnings pursuant to Paragraph 2 of the Settlement Agreement.

The Settlement Agreement requires settlement payment of $3,800
