Save the Dates: Proposition 65 Identification Committee Meetings

The Carcinogen Identification Committee will meet at the CalEPA Headquarters Building, 1001 I Street, Sacramento, at 10:00 am on December 5, 2019, to consider the listing of acetaminophen. The Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee will meet at the CalEPA Headquarters Building at 10:00 am on December 11, 2019, to consider the listings of cannabis smoke and Δ-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Tentative agendas will be provided in advance of the meetings, which will be webcast.

Vinocur Issues Over a Dozen New 60-Day Notices of Prop 65 Violation

Laurence Vinocur has issued a dozen new 60-Day Notices of Violation of Proposition 65 to companies offering products such as gloves, vinyl stickers, and tool pouches in California that contain chemicals known to the State to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm without the requisite health hazard warning.  Vinocur alleges that the companies’ products contain the phthalate chemical DEHP and/or the heavy metal lead, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects and/or other reproductive harm.  Noticed companies include Bondhus Corporation, Tuesday Morning, and Walgreens.
